When it comes to feminism, it should be intersectional. If you aren't an intersectional feminist, you aren't a feminist. Regardless of our differences, we are still WOMEN, black or white. Lately, I've seen that not every feminist has the same fight. There are some white feminist that prioritize themselves and their injustices(ha), however everyone else's doesn't matter. Feminism focuses on the equality of the sexes, which INCLUDES the equality of sex regardless of skin color. I hate that some of our white counterparts believe that simply because an issue doesn't affect them it is obsolete. Which brings me to the Women's March that took place recently. I am down for the cause, I am all for women standing together. BUT are we all standing for the same cause? Are we standing for the rights for ALL women or just the ones for those who have fair skin? That crowd of women had women who supported Trump( I don't have to remind you of his characteristics). So you tell me what you think. I'll leave this right here.
